An independent panel of scientists has awarded Ganeden Biotech, Inc., Cleveland, OH, self-affirmed GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) status for its patented probiotic, GanedenBC30 (Bacillus coagulans GBI- 30, 6086). After an extensive evaluation of research studies and toxicology data, the panel concluded that GanedenBC30 is safe for use as an ingredient in food products.
